Pedestrian killed in Clinton Twp hit and run
Police in Clinton Township are searching for a driver who struck and killed a pedestrian on Garfield early Thursday morning.
According to police, the accident happened around 2:00 Thursday morning on Garfield between 18 Mile and 19 Mile. Police say the victim was hit multiple times but the first driver did not stop.
Police are searching for a car with heavy front end damage and windshield damage.
The victim has been identified but police are not releasing a name until the family can be notified.
