Person in custody after police situation in Romulus
ROMULUS, Mich. (FOX 2) - Police in Romulus say they have a person in custody after a situation Friday morning.
The department posted on Facebook around 9:30 a.m. that a police situation was ongoing in the area of Wick Road, near Wick Elementary and Romulus Middle schools. That's between Cogswell Street and Wayne Road.
"Stay out of the area if possible. If you live in the area, lock your doors and stay inside," the post read.
Police wouldn't elaborate on what was happening, but a short while confirmed to FOX 2 that a person is in custody.
