Pittsfield suspects in stolen car hit tree, flip onto roof, run off - VIDEO

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office has released stunning video that shows a stolen car crashing into a tree and then coming to land on its roof. Somehow, the people in the car were able to escape and run away.

The car in the video, a 2006 Toyota Avalon, was stolen in Pittsfield Township on July 7. On Wednesday - five days after the vehicle was stolen - police found the car when neighbors in Superior Township called to report an accident.

According to the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office, the Toyota was cruising west on Barrington when it parked vehicle. It kept going west and then went over the shoulder and hit a small tree in the neighborhood. The car flipped and came to rest on the roof.

A few second later, the people inside the car all scrambled out and ran off from the scene.
