Police hope video will help catch shooter after teen killed on Outer Dr

Detroit police are hoping video could lead to an arrest after two teens were shot at while walking along Outer Drive. One of the teens was killed. 

Police say the man in the black hoodie walked past two 18-year-olds on East Outer Drive, near Mitchell, on Nov. 11 around 3:40 p.m. The man turned around and started shooting.

One of the teens died and police say the other had injuries that weren't life threatening. He was able to run away and call 911. 

The gunman got away in a gray or silver Dodge Charger with black stripes on the side. He's described as being 6 feet tall and weighing around 180 lbs. He was wearing a black hooded Nike sweatshirt, black jogging pants and black shoes. 

Police haven't said why they think the shooting took place.
