Police looking for John Kimbrough who disappeared month ago
DETROIT (WJBK) - A community comes together to pray for the safe return of a missing man.
John Kimbrough has been missing for more than a month. He was last seen Thursday, December 7th when the 51-year-old was at a work Christmas party at the Riverside Marina.
He even spoke with his girlfriend at about 9:30 that night but she has not seen or heard from him since. He was also seen leaving the building at the marina but never got to his truck. He was a no-call, no-show at his job that Friday, something his girlfriend says he would not have done, leading his family to suspect something was wrong.
They are pleading for anyone who has any information to come forward.
"I beg anyone who has any information to come forward because we just miss him so much," said Letta McPherson, his girlfriend. "We want him home. The outpouring is going to be enormous, and I want the person or persons to know that he is a great guy. He does not deserve to be missing like this we need him home."
Detroit police will be back at Riverside Marina Thursday and possibly with the dive team to search the waters there. There is a $2,500 reward from Crime Stoppers for information leading to authorities finding Kimbrough. Call them at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
