DETROIT (WJBK) - Detroit police are on the scene of a home in Detroit where they say human bones and a human skull were found.
Police say the remains were discovered under a rear porch by a drywall and painting contractor.
The bones were found Wednesday morning just before 11:30 a.m. at a home in the 600 block of Longfellow Street, which is near Voigt Park in Detroit's Boston-Edison Historic District.
Detroit police weren't sure if the remains were of an adult or a child.
It's unclear at this time if the home is abandoned or occupied.
