Police rescue swan from side of I-696 in Metro Detroit

DETROIT (FOX 2) - A swan was rescued Monday morning after a Michigan State Police trooper saw the bird on the side of the freeway.

The swan was standing on the shoulder of I-696. The trooper was able to put the animal into a bag and brought it to the MSP post.
