Police searching for suspect involved in non fatal shooting on city's west side

The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating a male suspect wanted in connection with a non-fatal shooting that occurred on the city's west side early Friday.

On March 22, 2019 at approximately 3:40 a.m. in the 10000 block of Schoolcraft, a 25-year old male victim was shot by an unknown suspect at a local gas station. 

The victim was in a white Chevrolet Malibu when the suspect began firing multiple shots at the victim. 

After the shooting, the suspect entered a burgundy Ford Fusion and fled the location north on Wyoming.

The suspect is a black male in his 20’s approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall, medium build, armed with a hand gun.
