Polish potato pancakes from Srodek's in Hamtramck
Peel and rinse Potatoes
Finely grate onion. Finely grate potatoes. Add egg, flour (amount depends on liquid released from onion and potatoes), and sour cream. A pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
Heat pan with vegetable oil. Add a serving spoon worth to hot oil, flatten out. Fry on each side till golden brown.
Serve with sour cream, apple sauce, sugar, or gravy.
