Police arrived to reports of a shooting at South Marshall Street in Pontiac. They arrived to find bullet casings on the ground.

Police learned a woman was hurt when she was washing dishes when a bullet was fired into her home and shattered the dish she was holding. They say the woman arrived at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital with a laceration on her arm, but authorities have not determined whether it was caused by a bullet or a piece of the dish she was holding.

Another resident in the 200 block of Michigan Avenue reported a bullet shattered on their window.

Officials say witnesses described three suspects shooting indiscriminately out the windows of a gray SUV heading southbound on South Marshall Street.

The investigation is ongoing.
