Power outage at Ford Rouge plant in Dearborn

The entire Ford Rouge complex in Dearborn lost power early Tuesday morning, according to a Ford spokesperson.

The Rouge plant at 20900 Oakwood Blvd in Dearborn lost all power around 6 a.m. Tuesday. According to Ford, auxiliary lighting has been switched on.

Ford released this statement regarding the outage:

"The Ford Rouge complex lost power shortly before 6:00 a.m. today. Auxiliary lighting is on, employees are safe and we are working to determine the cause of the outage."

FOX 2 spoke with DTE who said the system is not showing any outages on their system.

Employees told FOX 2 that the entire complex was without power.
