Pups invade Campus Martius as Michigan Humane Society collects donations

DETROIT (WJBK) - Who doesn't love a good snuggle? 

This Giving Tuesday, the charitable movement and launch of the season of giving, was celebrated across the globe, including right here in Detroit at Campus Martius Park. 

The Michigan Humane Society celebrated its love for dogs and their potential new owners downtown on Tuesday with a meet-and-greet, accepting donations as Facebook and PayPal match all Giving Tuesday donations made through Facebook fundraisers up to $7 million.

The gift helps MHS provide food, shelter and medical care to thousands of dogs and cats who are looking for their forever families.
