Rescue teams at scene of car in the Clinton River

First responders are at the scene where a car is believed to be in the Clinton River in Rochester Hills.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office said that a driver went into the water and under a bridge at Livernois and Avon roads.

The driver was pulled from the vehicle, described as in his late 20s or early 30s, by the fire department. It is unknown if he was under the influence.

He has been transported to an area hospital. 

The Oakland County dive team is at the scene along with the fire department and Oakland County Sheriff Deputies.
