School bus crashes into home on Detroit's west side
A FOX 2 viewer sent this photo of a school bus that crashed into the side of a home on Detroit's west side on Friday, September 15, 2017.
DETROIT (WJBK) - Detroit Police and DTE are at a home on Detroit's west side where a school bus plowed into a home.
Around 9:20, the school bus plowed into the side of a home near Mettatal and Chalfonte St. The home is just south of Fenkell and east of Southfield Road.
A FOX 2 viewer contacted the newsroom Friday night to alert us to the scene. According to the tip, Detroit Police and DTE are all on the scene.
The caller also said the driver suffered a medical emergency and there were not kids on the bus. Police have not confirmed those details.
