Shelby Twp police ask public's help to name new dummy

(WJBK) - The Shelby Township Police Department needs your help in naming a new addition.
A police dummy needs a name and the department is looking for suggestions from the public. It will be part of the COPPER program, known as Community Oriented Policing/Public Education Resources.
The trailer it will be a part of was customized with donations from the public. It will feature displays for drug education, safety awareness, disaster preparedness, recruiting and other services.
"We are unveiling the community services (C.O.P.P.E.R) trailer this coming weekend at the Shelby Twp. Art Fair. Our friend here has an integral role in the trailer. What he DOESN'T have is a name (or a shirt....but Amazon is bringing that tomorrow). Can you help us name him? We can't keep calling him "The Dummy"....it's insensitive. -L"
