Shelby Twp student arrested after threatening comments made during lunch

Police in Shelby Township say a student has been arrested after threatening comments were made Wednesday during lunch. 

School officials at Eisenhower High School say a student reported the threatening comments to the office Thursday morning. Officials say they immediately called the student down to the main office Thursday, where he was met and arrested by Shelby Township Police. 

Police say there is no danger to the kids in the building at this time. School officials say they sent a note to the parents, and the situation is being addresses. 

Officials didn't elaborate on the threatening comments. 

Police are continuing to investigate with Eisenhower administration.
