Somerset Collection's CityLoft returns to downtown Detroit

Somerset Collection’s CityLoft is a pop-up retail space in downtown Detroit, and it's now open and once again bringing high-end shopping to the city.

If you'd close your eyes in a store in New York or Chicago, then open them after teleporting to 1001 Woodward, you wouldn't think twice. It's a miracle mile-esque shopping district in downtown Detroit just in time for the holidays.

"We love it. Every year we get a different space; we get to activate one of these amazing buildings in the city of Detroit,” says Linda McIntosh of Somerset collection. "It has been really fun. Every time we have activated a space, someone actually moves in after.”

In this temporary space, there are many retailers from Somerset collection offering the affordable, such as The Gap and Lego, and, being Somerset, there are some items a little more upscale, too, such as Coach.

"You're going to see items here that you don’t even see at Somerset,” says McIntosh.

This space is now open 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays through December 19, 2015.
