SOUTHGATE, Mich. (WJBK) - Southgate Community Schools will be closed Thursday due to a posted threat.
The threat was posted on the Anderson High School website's events calendar by someone who hacked the site. A photo was taken by an anonymous parent who passed it on to FOX 2.
Officials learned of the threat Wednesday and closed district schools for tomorrow.
Parents received robocalls and emails about the threat.
Before it was removed, students took a picture of it and shared it to Snapchat. Southgate police and the district's tech department are investigating.
