Stranger danger in Macomb County after man tried to get teen into car

The Macomb County Sheriff's Office is urging parents to talk with their children about stranger danger after a man tried to get a 15-year-old girl into his car Tuesday morning.
Deputies were alerted to the report that happened in Harrison Township. According the officers, a 15-year-old girl reported to L'Anse Creuse High School Central that a man tried to get her into his car earlier in the morning.
She told them she was walking near Ashland and Memory Lane when the man sped past her and then turned around. he pulled up beside her and asked if she wanted a ride to school. When she said no he told her to get into the car.
Just then, a school bus pulled up, which the girl got into. The man never got out of his car.
The man, in his early 20s with curly brown hair, was wearing a black t-shirt, black and gray baseball cap, and a silver chain around his neck. The car was described as an older model silver four-door vehicle.
The Macomb County Sheriff's Office is reminding parents to talk to their children about stranger danger and to never take a ride from someone they dont' know.
