Stranger Danger; Man exposes himself in Dearborn Heights
Dearborn Heights, MI (WJBK) - Dearborn Heights police are beefing up patrols tomorrow in the neighborhood where Thorne Elementary School is located.
The move comes after a parent says a man exposed himself to his daughter Friday on her way to school.
Walking outside an elementary school shouldn't be accompanied by worry, but parents are asked to be on the lookout, and police will be Monday morning.
A letter went home to parents Friday saying someone exposed himself to a student.
Police say the indecent exposure happened between 8:30 and 8:40 in the morning.
A man was leaning on the side of a 2004-2005 red four door Honda with a dented front passenger's side door. The car was parked on Pennie Street which is on the south side of the school.
The child apparently saw the man holding his naked privates and trying to get kids to look at it.
The suspect is described as a white man between the ages 24-25, Height approximately 5’8 to 5'10, 150 lbs with brown hair and a mustache wearing a black sweat suit.
