Suspect shoots man after disparaging comment is made about friend

Detroit Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that happened Saturday morning around 1:00 a.m. in the 18000 block of Fenelon. 

Authorities say the victim, a 45-year-old man, and suspect a 19-year-old man, were standing outside the above location with a group of people when someone made disparaging remarks about the suspect’s friend. The suspect then went home and retrieved a weapon. When he returned, he fired shots and struck the victim multiple times. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital and suffered from multiple gunshot wounds. He is currently in critical condition. 

The suspect was last seen wearing a red Fila shirt, red gym shoes and blue jeans. He was operating a green Chevy Cobalt with plastic over the passenger rear taillight.
