Suspect wanted for shooting solicitor passing out fliers

DETROIT (WJBK) - Detroit police is on the hunt for a man wanted in connection with a shooting to a sales person delivering sales flyers here in the city.

The victim is in critical condition, while the gunman remains at large. 

A 27-year-old going man door to door on the block of Montrose. He knocked on the door of one house in particular and an argument broke out. 

That's when a 21-year-old man, Jaffar Tawfik came out of the same house with a gun. He fired at the victim but missed. The two suspect fired again hitting the 27 year-old sending him to the hospital. 

Tawfik was last seen driving north away from the scene in a white Cadillac with black rims. Anyone with information on where he might be, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
