Tattooed Detroit man who wears gun on chain on his neck wanted for Tennessee murder

Jaleen Genard Allen, 23, is wanted for the murder of a Knoxville, Tennessee, man last month.

Police in Knoxville, Tennessee, say they're searching for a heavily tattooed Detroit man wanted for the murder of a man last month.

Knoxville police say they're searching for Jaleen Genard Allen, 23, for the murder of a man in August.

Police in Knoxville say Michael Johnson, 28, was found shot to death in Knoxville on August 29. They say the investigation led them to identifying Allen as the suspect.

Knoxville police also say that Allen travels frequently between Detroit and Knoxville and is known to carry more than one gun including one that hangs from a chain around his neck.

Allen is black, with brown eyes and black hair. He has tattoos covering most of his arms and torso. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
