Taylor bank robber threatens to blow up U.S. citizens

Taylor police are looking for a woman who used a bomb threat to rob a bank Thursday morning.

At 9:45 a.m. the woman entered Monroe Bank & Trust, 7146 Pelham, near Ecorse Road, waiting for other customers to leave before the robbery. The woman then approached the teller and showed two notes to announce the robbery. 

In the notes the defendant demanded "Give me all your 100's and 50's, I have a bomb and will blow up all U.S citizens." The notes were written on bank forms she got from the location.

The suspect left the location with an undisclosed amount of money and left in a light colored car, possibly gray or silver. The car had been parked on a nearby side street.

Police believe that a second person was inside the car and drove the suspect away, according to outside security camera video.

The suspect is described as a female, possibly Arabic, light skinned black or white, about 5 feet, 4 inches to five feet, 5 inches.

She has a medium build and was wearing dark pants and a short sleeve shirt which police suspect could be possibly medical scrubs, long sleeved pink shirt and black head wear that included a patterned scarf.
