Taylor house fire kills toddler and woman

(FOX 2) - Police are investigating what caused a fire that killed a 23-year-old woman and a 2-year-old child. 

According to Police, the fire started around 11 p.m. Thursday night at a home on Jackson and Hayes in Taylor. 

There was also another child in the house during the fire. She was transported to children’s hospital and was last listed in critical condition.

Police said her father was at work at the time of the fire.

Police have not released the identity of the two victims.
