Technical Service Engineer

Assist dealership service technicians in troubleshooting technical problems at an OEM On-Demand Contact Center. Combine your experience and repair knowledge with an expansive database to provide the latest fix information to dealership technicians via phone and the web. Regularly collaborate with other service engineering teams to diagnose and provide the most accurate information to Fix It Right the First Time. Additional responsibilities may also include acting as a liaison with product engineering, publication and other service engineering personnel to resolve various service issues.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

·         Hands-on skills as an automotive service technician

·         Dealership experience

·         Diagnostic/repair skills

·         Customer service skills

·         PC Skills

 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

·         ASE Certifications

·         Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with an automotive focus

·         French Canadian or Spanish bilingual a plus

 

If a candidate becomes hired as an employee, they would be a contract worker through Advantage Resourcing and would work onsite at the On Demand Contact Center in Allen Park, MI. This contract has no definitive end date and remains open ended, provided that performance is satisfactory.
