Fox-2's former Traffic reporter, Jackie Paige, shares her weight loss journey in hopes of helping others.  After a lifetime of struggling with her weight, she decided to get gastric sleeve surgery, which removed 80% of her stomach.  She says recovering from the surgery was painful and changing her lifestyle was overwhelming.  Now, a year and a half later, Jackie is down more than 100 pounds and she says she works daily to stay strong and healthy.

Jackie has spoken at weight loss events sponsored by Beaumont Health. 
On Wednesday, she joined Dr. Kerstyn Zalesin, Bariatric Medical Director-Division of Nutrition and Preventive Medicine at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, to answer questions about weight loss and surgery options.
