The area manager is the central link between customers and production. Your goal is to get all of your assigned commercial, industrial and municipal plow sites cleared of snow and deiced prior to the location opening in a manner that is consistent with how the customer has specified. You will receive paid training before the season starts and be required to continue training throughout the season. Successful candidate will be working with district managers, customers, production employees and service providers. This job requires 24/7 availability from November 20th to April 1st. You are "on-call" for that entire timeframe however you will primarily be working prior to, during and right after snowfalls of 1" or more.
Permanent / year round positions are available!
You will be responsible for the following (and more!):
- Calling out workforce during snow events
- Making critical decisions in the field related to production
- Watching weather conditions in your territory
- Pre-season, in-season and post-season site inspections
- Quality control
- Maintaining effective communication throughout the snow event
- Manage supply inventory for your area
- Review profitability for your area
- Maintaining employee and service provider relationships
Ideal candidate would be:
- Organized

- Able to work long hours
- Good under pressure
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
Pay:
- Base salary
- $ 25.00 - 35.00 / hour
