The Write Idea: Free training for disabled veterans

A nationally acclaimed company that prepares veterans for jobs in the wireless industry is set to begin training disabled veterans in Detroit. If you are a disabled veteran interested in pursuing a career as a broadband technician, Cable-TV technician or wireless technician - this program is for you.

The Veteran's training program was created with the cooperation of the wireless industry to address the shortage of skilled jobs for returning veterans and satisfy the industry's desperate need for trained technicians to deploy wireless telecommunications equipment and facilities. This is the first time the training company has specifically targeted disabled veterans. Candidates that successfully complete the five-week paid training program are guaranteed to be placed in a job making $14-$19 an hour.

The next trainign sessionbegins November 30, 2015.

This program is open to Disabled veterans who are classified as Chapter 31 under the current VA regulations or are eligible for this classification.
