Three teens charged in fatal Eastland Mall shooting
Three teenagers have been charged with the fatal shooting of a man at a mall the day after Christmas.
Brendon Stanton-Lipscomb, 18, Demetrius Armour, 17, and Tyshon Taylor, 17, were all charged in the shooting that ended with the death of another teen, 18-year-old Tyrell Lane.
Lane was leaving Burlington Coat Factory when the Wayne County Prosecutor said Stanton-Libscomb shot him. Officials say the other two teens helped him in some way, but did not elaborate how.
Previously Harper Woods police had arrested another person in the shooting shortly after it happened. He was considered to not be the shooting suspect and released.
Prosecutors say the three teens also assaulted two other teens while at the mall.
The three teens were each charged with first degree murder, and two counts of assault with intent to murder. Stanton-Lipscomb has also been charged with a felony firearm charge.
