Less than two weeks away from the Woodward dream cruise, the city of Troy brings their 11th annual Troy Traffic Jam.

Classic car owners and enthusiast gathered at the Columbia Center, the event featuring the chrome and muscle that car enthusiasts love with nearly 300 vehicles on display.

“This is the best car show in southeast Michigan, the car guys and car gals tell us,” event organizer Lorraine Campbell said.

So many cars from hotrods, to convertibles, all the eclectic styles and models.

There are so many stories that come with classic cars, like the 1924 Model T.

“My dad and my grandpa worked on the line and they built these cars,” John Loose said.

Another vehicle featured was the Duesenberg, driven by Hollywood stars Clark Gable and Jean Harlow.

“This car go’s over a 100 mph in second gear, there was nothing built like this in the world at this time. And really it has never ever been equal in American car production,” Brian Joseph said.

If you missed the Troy Traffic Jam car show, you can catch many of the same cars at the Woodward Dream Cruise August 18th.
