Truck hits low-hanging wires in downtown Detroit
DETROIT (WJBK) - An all-day cleanup is expected after a produce truck crashed into some low-hanging wires in downtown Detroit.
It happened near the intersection of Trumbull Avenue and Fort Street. We're told the post office there still has power and is expected to be able to carry out its regular duties. However, the Salvation Army at that corner is without power, and cannot access its dozens of trucks that help service several locations in the metro area.
The roadway is also closed at the intersection. We're told some entrance and exit ramps on the highway in the area may also be affected.
