Two firefighters injured on Detroit's west side

Two firefighters have been injured battling a blaze on Detroit's west side.

An abandoned building near Cortland and Lawton streets went up in flames overnight. That is near Linwood and Davison streets.

We're told two firefighters have suffered smoke inhalation, and one has a hand injury.

They have been taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition. They're expected to be okay.

The fire is still not yet completely extinguished at this hour.
