Three young males are dead and two injured after a rollover crash at Stony Creek Metro Park.

The teens have been identified by police as 17-year-old Jonathan Manolios and 17-year-old Emanuel Malaj, both of Sterling Heights. Michael Wells, 17, of Macomb Township was also killed in the crash.

The two other surviving passengers are both 17-years-old and are currently in critical condition at the hospital. They have not been identified yet by police.

"What we do believe is that the vehicle traveled westbound on the inner parkway road at a high rate of speed," said Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham. "When it crossed the lane and four individuals were ejected."

According to a press release released by the Macomb County Sheriff's department, the driver of the vehicle lost control and struck a guardrail while travelling west on the Park Road inside Park and in the vicinity of Eastwood Beach. Preliminary investigation points to speed being a factor in the crash.

Wickersham said that reports of bicyclists and pedestrians being hit by the car were erroneous.
