VIEWER PHOTOS: Sunday storm leaves snow across metro Detroit
UPDATE 5:30PM - Weather Authority Derek Kevra
The accumulating snow system is long gone now and we are left with just some light flurries and COLD temps. The winds are still gusting to 30-35 mph making those wind chills sit near 5 degrees. Hopefully you got that snow shoveled earlier today because if you didn't, there's a good chance it's ice at this point.
Sunday evening temps will drop through the 20s and into the teens, giving us an overnight low near 14. Of course it will feel closer to 0 degrees with the wind still moderately strong. Snow flurries look to come to an end around 3AM Monday morning.
We will get a break from the snow Monday afternoon, but more is on the way Monday night and Tuesday morning. A clipper system swings down from Canada and could drop another 1-3".
The next 2 weeks look like winter... with chilly temps, a bit of a breeze and a chance for snow on and off. We knew we couldn't avoid it forever...
