VP candidates Pence, Kaine to make stops in Michigan this week

Both the Democratic and Republican candidates for vice president will be making a stop in Michigan this week.

Donald Trump's running mate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence, will speak at the Macomb County Republican Party dinner in Shelby Township Monday night.

The event is sold out.

Tuesday, Hillary Clinton's running mate Senator Tim Kaine will visit Focus Hope in Detroit. He'll deliver a speech at 2:30 p.m., highlighting what he calls the "high stakes" in the election.

The event will not be open to the public.

This year's election is on Tuesday, November 8.
