Wednesdays in the Mitten: Breathtaking shots of Pure Michigan

Michigan is a beautiful state. So that's a bit of an understatement, but how do you see the entire Mitten and the Upper Peninsula? Through the eye of two amazing Michigan photographers.

Todd and Brad Reed are a father-son outdoor photography team based in Ludington. They travel the state to find beautiful shots of this incredible state and what they have is breathtaking.

Todd has been catching the scenes in Michigan for over 35 years. He spent 33 years in the Coast Guard Reserve and in 1988 he was honored as the top "Outstanding Enlisted Reservist" in the nation.

His son, Brad, traveled with his dad without a camera. As Todd snapped photos, he practiced seeing the right angle at the right time with the right light. He studied education at Calvin College and then started to follow his heart into the world of photography. We're glad he did.

This summer, the duo will release Wednesdays in the Mitten. The book is a stunning look at Michigan and the beautiful sights the the have captured. They gave us a sneak peek Wednesday. Take a look at the video above for yourself and learn more about the book here.
