"White Boy Rick" encounters legal set back ahead of resentencing hearing.

DETROIT - A Court of Appeals has issued a stay on "White Boy Rick's" resentencing hearing that was planned for next week.

The prosecution and Rick Wershe's attorney will have to argue the case again.

Judge Dana Hathaway recently granted Wershe's request for a hearing.

Wershe spent 28 years of a life sentence in prison after being arrested for cocaine possession as a minor.
