Woman abducted and robbed in Chesterfield Twp.
CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) - Investigators are looking for two suspects after a woman says she was abducted and robbed in Chesterfield Township Tuesday night.
It happened when the 31-year-old woman stopped at the B&B party store on 23 Mile Road near Interstate 94.
Police say she pulled into the back of the parking lot, right around 9:15 when the two suspects approached her. We're told one of them had a gun and forced her back into her car, and told her to drive. The woman drove the men all the way to Eastpointe, near 9 Mile Road and Gratiot Avenue.
While on the way, we're told the suspects went through her purse and took her cellphone and whatever money she had on her.
When she dropped them off, police say the suspects split. The woman was not harmed.
The suspect who had the gun is described as a black male in his mid 20s with short braids. He was wearing a full-body camo snow suit. The second suspect is also in his mid 20s, and had on jeans, a dark-blue hoodie and a gray beanie.
