Woman dead after double shooting at home in Lincoln Park

LINCOLN PARK, Mich. (WJBK) - One person has died after a double shooting at a home in Lincoln Park late Monday night, authorities tell us. 

We're told a woman in her 20s has passed away at the hospital after she was shot at a home in the 700 block of Garfield Avenue, which is near Southfield Road and Fort Street. 

Police haven't said yet how seriously the other victim was injured. 

Neighbors tell us they heard as many as 10 gunshots coming from the home, and that they saw emergency crews performing CPR on one of the victims. Another neighbor said they called 911 when they saw a child jump the fence and yell for help. 

Police don't have anyone in custody right now. It's also unclear what prompted the shooting.
