Woman killed, three others hurt in shooting overnight in Detroit

Multiple people were injured in a shooting overnight in Detroit, and one of the victims has died.

We're told a 29-year-old woman died after being shot multiple times. Another woman was hit in the arm and her hand, and her pinky was shot off. She's hospitalized in critical condition right now. Two men were also shot but are in stable condition. One was able to drive himself to the hospital.

The shooting happened around 1:40 a.m. at Elmdale and Chalmers.

We're told one of the victims went inside an apartment in that area, came back out, and moments later shots were fired at them all as they were sitting in a silver Buick. It's unclear right now why they were shot at.

Police are looking for two suspects in a black Crown Victoria. We're told the shooters were wearing ski masks so police don't have a good description of the suspects right now.

Police are seeking surveillance video from nearby businesses.
