Woman shot during altercation on Mitchell Street in Detroit

DETROIT (FOX 2) - A 25-year-old woman was shot by a man during an altercation in Detroit, according to police.

The shooting took place just after 6 p.m., on the 20400 block of Mitchell Street.

The victim is listed in temporary serious condition at a local hospital, Detroit police said. The suspect was arrested, and the weapon was recovered.
