Woman's 1978 Corvette stolen during Woodward Dream Cruise

(WJBK) - The Woodward Dream Cruise became a nightmare for one local woman after her car was stolen at the event.

Kelly Robinson said someone stole her 1978 Corvette on Saturday.

She parked it at a meter at Rosie O'Grady's in Ferndale and it was stolen around 1:40 p.m.

The car is dark blue with a white interior and a T-top.

She said she thinks someone had to be watching her.

"This was definitely something that makes me feel violated and it's sad," she said. "It's hurtful. It's heartbreaking. This was my car for 16 years. I bought this car when I was struggling in my early 20s and said I want a Corvette, I'm going to buy a Corvette. All my family has Corvettes, it's my turn now."

Kelly said she just wants the car back -- no questions asked.

She'll even give the person who returns it some type of reward.
