Lions' Annouce Brian Callahan Hiring as Quarterbacks Coach

The Detroit Lions' announced Monday that they have hired Brian Callahan as their new quarterbacks coach.

Callahan--who is the son of Washington Redskins offensive line coach Bill Callahan--has spent the last six-years with the Denver Broncos where he was an offensive assistant/quarterbacks coach during their Super Bowl victory and served many offensive coaching roles during his time in Denver.  

Before joining the Broncos, he coached two years at a high school in San Mateo, California and was a graduate assistant with UCLA in 2006.  Callahan was a walk-on quarterback at UCLA and was used on special teams.
