ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WJBK) - The Detroit Lions selected DB Will Harris 81st overall in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft after trading with the Minnesota Vikings by reportedly swapping third round picks for a Lions sixth round pick.
Harris, 6'1" 207 pounds, played four seasons at Boston College primarily as a strong safety and had 73 tackles with one interception during his senior season for the Eagles. He ran a 4.41 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine.
The Georgia native finished his career with five interceptions and 223 tackles. In 2017 he returned an interception for a touchdown. During his senior year he was voted a captiain by his teammates and was All-ACC Third team.
