Michigan and Michigan State land in the East Region of the NCAA Tournament

The Michigan Wolverines claimed the number one seed and will Saturday against the winner of a play-in game between Mount Saint Mary's and Texas Southern.

Michigan State has to play Thursday against UCLA to claim the eleven seed in the East. A win by the Spartans sets up a matchup on Saturday against six seed BYU.
