Monday Lions News & Notes

The Lions held their fourth day of Training Camp Monday in what was the hottest day so far with the sun beating down for most of the practice.  It was also the second day of full pads and players were getting a little chippy, especially when the offensive line went one-on-one with the defensive line.

Theo Riddick sat out for the second practice in a row and Lions' Head Coach Jim Caldwell would only say, "Theo's coming along."

Ameer Abdullah is still wearing the red non-contact jersey while fully practicing and Ryan Spadola also sat out a second practice.

Corey Robinson was moved from the PUP list to the active roster earlier in the day.

Everyone else who is on the active roster practiced Monday.

The highlight of the day was when Dan Orlovsky found TJ Jones down the left sideline for an acrobatic catch to the ground while being blanketed by Johnson Bademosi.  Jones has had a nice few days.

Here are some more notes from Monday:

The Lions have Tuesday off before they return to the field on Wednesday.
