Lions' defensive end Ziggy Ansah and many Lions' players including Haloti Ngata, Darryl Tapp, Jason Jones, Gabe Wright, Joique Bell and teammates who couldn't be there donated 94,000 bottles of water to the people of Flint.  Even Angelo Blackson of the Tennessee Titans joined in to help out.

The players -- mostly defensive lineman -- donated the 94,000 bottles due to Ansah's number 94 as he was the force behind the drive and first texted his teammates to get everyone together to help out.

"I wouldn't say that when I lived in Ghana I couldn't drink the water that come from the tap," Ansah said.  "At least we could use that water to bathe, take a shower, brush our teeth...just to be able to be out here is really the main focus. Just being out here to be able to help."

Ansah was asked football questions and was hesitant to answer saying his entire focus was on the people of Flint.

"We're in a unique situation being NFL players representing Detroit and this is home for us," Tapp said.  "We really want to put our hand out there and help those in need."

As of yesterday, 781,000 bottles of water have arrived at the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan since January 7th.
