WATCH: Tigers' Manager Ron Gardenhire with Jennifer Hammond live on The Nine

LAKELAND, Fla. (WJBK) - New Tigers' Manager Ron Gardenhire joined FOX 2's The Nine with Jennifer Hammond Tuesday morning live from Lakeland, Florida as the Tigers open spring training.

Hammond, who is reporting from spring training all week, asked Gardenhire about his first spring training in Lakeland and his message to the team.  They also talked about the "excitement" of a new season and how he still has a team with experience even though they are rebuilding.
