Two dead and a child was injured in a shooting in Detroit. A man was seriously injured in a drive-by shooting in Eastpointe, a hit and run is being investigated in Melvindale, two immigrants were arrested on suspicion of trying to coerce a minor, rescued fawn recovering, bridge work on I-696 and a former local teacher was arrested for criminal sexual conduct charges against family members.

Detroit police say one person was arrested in a shooting that killed two, and injured two others, one of them being a 12-year-old child.
Eastpointe police search for shooting suspect
At around 3:30 p.m. on Kelly near 8 Mile, police say a dark-colored sedan pulled up to a minivan where a person inside the sedan fired several shots into the van. The driver crashed his vehicle after being hit by gunfire and was rushed to an area hospital.
